I'm getting a really late start on this entry today... I've spent most of the day messing with the server. Heh... funny word, server. It's the MASTER, I seem to be the one doing the sweating...

I had to reformat the HD again, re-partition it, so I decided to set it up as a dual-boot machine, WIN98 and Linux. I've almost got the WIN98 part going, I haven't started on the Linux re-install yet, but I'm geting there.

This morning started off pretty nice, and it wound up being a really nice day, weather-wise, but still pretty chilly. Steve had to go to work about 08:30, and he brought Lacee and Patrick over about 08:15, and they were full of energy... again, dammit. They're always full of something...

Well, it was a pretty nice day for them to be playing outside, anyway.

And by the way, I might not have mentioned that Lacee keeps getting cuter. And, as long as we're on the subject, Patrick is pretty damned cute too!

So, I'm still struggling with WIN98 on this damned thing. Well, not on this particular damned thing, but on the other one. This particular damned thing is giving me other problems... like not being able to connect to the net. And that is a major problem.

I think that I know what happened... I had a window pop up and say, "File and printer sharing will allow people on the internet to possibly invade your hard disk!", or words to that effect.

Well, I'm pretty lenient about most things, but I don't really want y'all sharing my files and printer, y'know... you might run me out of paper or something, if I accidentally turned my printer on... or put a buncha dirty pictures on my hard drive...so I naturally said, "NO! I don't want that to happen!" and checked the box and said OK. After that, I could connect, but nothing else would happen. So I know how I caused the problem, but I have no idea how to fix it.

So I need to load CUTE (the FTP Program, not the quality that Lacee and Patrick [and Karen, come to think of it...]have in abundance...) on the new machine and transfer the files over to it so that I can get them up tonight. If I can make that happen, that is.

And it's getting pretty damned late, too, and I'm getting pretty damned tard. I might just save this all for tomorrow...

Yep, it'll be tomorrow fer sure...

Thanx for being here!
