Ah, but it's good to be home again. Not that I didn't enjoy my visit with Mom, y'know... it's just good to sleep in my own bed. Play on my own computer...

Lacee and Patrick were here when I got home. As I was kissing Karen hello, Lacee said, "You guys sure do kiss BIG!" We got a kick out of that...

Yesterday's trip home was pretty good... no wind, beautiful day... I made it back in just a little over four hours, averaging about 65MPH. Four short stops for coffee, and I used less than a tank of gas. It took about twice that going down against the wind.

Garyn's birthday party was last night, so Karen and the kids left about an hour after I got home. Which was fine with me... they were playing the spice girls or something equally obnoxious on the stereo and both TVs were going. Mom's home is so peaceful!

I did compose My Valentine to Karen on the way home... once I get into the poetry mode, it comes pretty easily. The problem seems to be getting there.

I also decided to pursue Linux. I got enthusiastic about it some months ago, then kinda dropped it. But I want to set up a server and a network here at home, and that seems to be the best way to do it.

Beautiful day here, but it's starting to cool off now, about 17:30. I'm going to see if Karen will go to a show with me or something.

More later, probably...

Thanx for being here!
