A cold, rainy day here in Topeka... but it doesn't matter. Karen and I are heading towards KC, gonna spend a day and night in the big town.

And the only thing that we need to worry about is whether the cats will kill each other or not.

And I'm not worrying... I just hope that they don't get blood all over the place while they're at it.

Yesterday was a pretty productive day, web-wise. I got the Keirsey Profiles updated and a lot of other work done, and I'm almost ready to do the income taxes, waiting for one more piece of paper. Which Karen probably has in her purse, come to think of it...

I've decided that if I truly want to pursue this web design thing, I've got to go out and beat the bushes for business... which means that I need a laptop. I can finally justify buying one, it seems. Most of the people who I want to sell to are going to be relatively web-ignorant, so if I want to sell them I'll have to show them what they're buying, won't I?

And I have to get incorporated too. I haven't done that in a long time, but it's pretty simple, if I remember rightly. What's hard in un-incorporating... I do remember that rightly.

I let Karen sleep in today... she hardly ever gets to do that. Me, I was up from 02:00 until 04:30, then I got up for good at ... 08:30. So I'm pretty well rested, too.

I'm not really sure if Karen has made plans to see anyone in KC or not... we've got several friends over there, but sometimes we don't let them know that we're coming, we just want to spend time by ourselves. I think that the latter is most likely what will happen this time. We need some alone time.

I still haven't heard from the boys in Texas, and they still haven't shown up here... I need to call them and find out what's goin on before we leave today.

Heh... like they're going to be up at this hour...
