I finally got the archives done! They are presently being uploaded and damn! I hope that they work!

If you have any trouble with them, drop me a line... I've tested and re-tested them to exhaustion... which, from previous experience, means absolutely nothing...

I got a wonderful twelve hours of sleep last night... I missed most of the prez's speech, though, but I heard (and read) that it was pretty good.

And, speaking of the Prez, and religion, I saw on the Headline News that there were some demo congressmen upset about the prayer that the State congressional session was opened with... seems that the preacher said some nasty things about Clinton.

My question is, naturally, "What the FUCK is a preacher doing there anyway?" Kansas hasn't really heard about, or applied, the rule about the separation of church and state. They will really soon.

There was, incidentally, nothing about this in the local paper... no big surprise there. I'll bet that they don't print my letter, either...

I did get a lot of spackling done today too... in fact, two walls are ready for the primer coat of paint. Unfortunately, as I was working standing on the counter by the sink, I stepped on the hot water dispenser spout, breaking it off. I do have it fixed on a temporary basis, but I need to order a new one.

And... they poured our driveway today! YES! We're finally getting closer to getting finished with this project! Now all they have to do is pour the sidewalk pieces that they cut out on either side of the driveways...

I talked to JD and Tyler last night shortly after I went to bed. And, I discovered this afternoon when Karen came home, I have very little recollection of the conversation. I remeber telling JD that I wasn't asleep, but I think that I probably was, mostly. Anyway, I think that they'll be coming up this week.

And... I need to get this finished up and get cleaned up and ready for work. Yep, it's here already, dammit. No nap today, natch... I got up way too late for that...
