Not a bad night, all in all. Steady up until about 02:30, then it dropped way off.
I did get written up for excessive absenteeism, however, along with about five other people from the department. I'm not gonna worry too much about it, I guess, since there's nothing that I can do about it. I'll just have to try harder to keep people from coughing in my face...
It does seem pretty stupid to me, though, that health care workers, who are exposed to all kinds of crap in the line of duty, have to meet the same standards of other workers in other fields. I'm pretty sure that I would be healthier if I were not coughed on daily by diseased people.
And the kids usually can't help it. Once they get old enough to understand, I don't have a problem telling people to cover their mouths. It's surprising the number of adults who don't do that...
We had a beautiful snow last night... I woke up about 18:00, and it didn't start snowing until about 18:30... big, beautiful flakes. Unfortunately, it also got really cold. Today it's supposed to do some of that freezing rain/sleet crap. That I can do without. It ain't even purty, and it's a bitch to get off of the windshield!
And, even though I feel pretty damned good, I'm gonna go to bed anyway.
