And yet another busy night... only the busy part came to an end about 03:00, allowing me to get my paperwork mostly done. After 03:00, I only did about five patients, as compared with 20 from 22:30 to 03:00.
I did about ten kid's chests... a damned pediatric clinic night, this was... and only one of the was negative. Some bunch of sick kids... all of their brothers and sisters are going to get it now, and they'll be in the next three nights. Well, probably more than that, but that's all that I care about, anyway.
So I really did get my ass kicked again, they just stopped kicking it sooner than they usually do...
But I had a little bit of paid time to rest, I didn't have to rest completely on my own time.
All of this talk about work is getting boring, I know. Let's see... weather has been relatively nice, I've heard... Iraq is going to shoot down our planes if we fly in their no-fly zones... I don't really understand all of that, if they don't have planes, why are we enforcing a no-fly zone, anyway?
Sometimes I wonder about us.
Brian is here, from Lawrence, so I have to wait until he and Karen get up before I go to bed... but I might help them up a little bit.
I'm not looking forward to the next three nights... two of the toughest docs to work for are on... not that I don't like them, I just don't like to be working when they are... I have to work much too hard.
And after what has already transpired this rotation, I don't know if I can do it.
But I will. I always have, anyway.
O'yeah... I can FTP this, but I can't check the site, for some reason or another...
Well, mostly I do.
