I got up really really early again today, about 04:00; took Karen to work at 07:30 or so. She can't drive Andy's car anymore, it has expired tags and she got a ticket... $50.00... the other day.
I did get a lot done, though... I got all of the wiring completed and I got the hot water dispenser going. I also went out to Sams and checked out a 13" TV-VCR combination for the kitchen. They've got a good deal on one, plus an extra ten bucks off on a mail-in rebate.
Still listening to the impeachment deal. Still pissed. Vindictive bunch of assholes, those Republicans...

When I picked Karen up, we went back out to Sams and got the TV/VCR combo and I got a tensor halogen lamp for the computer room as my gift from the hospital... they gave all employees a $20 gift certificate.
I've been doing webring management stuff, and the webring is S - L - O - W tonight. I had to move four sites to the queue in the smoke-ring journals ring, and I haven't been able to test the atheist journals yet, it keeps timing out on me.
And the net, journal-wise anyway, is pretty damned quiet tonight. Everyone must be watching TV, those damned congresspeople...
I've decided to not get upset any more about it. Not that I ever really get upset, but you know what I mean... O'yeah, I know that I've sounded upset the last coupla days, but that's just my online persona being upset. I'm not really upset, myself. Not me. No sir.
My knee hurts more today, though. And I'm still coughing an awfully lot, and I'm getting right tard of both ailments.
Ah! I finally got through to webring management! Now I gotta test the sites... webring has a deal set up to do that... but if the site fails, I still gotta check and see if might still be good, because about half of the ones that fail shouldn't.
Hmmm... out of 16 sites, 15 failed, including mine... timed out. Damn. Guess I'll do it again...
It worked... and I only had to put one person in the queue.
I got some of those scented candles at Walgreens this morning, I'm burning the Black Cherry one. Smells good... that's what it's for, so it better.
Karen just got home, she went out with Matt and she finished up her xmas shopping... I hope. I think that she and I are going to be able to spend some time together this weekend... I really hope so, anyway.
