I went to bed yesterday shortly after uploading my entry, but I was up in about an hour with stomach cramps and diarrhea. This lasted until about 16:00, when I was finally able to go to sleep.

I'd called in sick about 14:00, pretty much knowing that even if I suddenly got well that, by then, I couldn't get enough sleep to function on the job.

I was able to sleep throughout the night in two-hour periods, and I do feel pretty decent now. I'm always fairly suspicious of the hospitals' food, it seems like this never happens to me except when I eat there. Monday night I had a couple of fish patties, they tasted OK, if I remember rightly, but I smeared them with katsup and they were just barely warm. Seems like I had something else, but I can't remember... O'yeah, it was corn.

My knee is still pretty painful when I forget that it hurts and I pivot on it, or if I hyperextend it, but other than that, it seems to be better... most of the time I don't think about it, and that's good.

There are a lot of things that I'm going to get done this week, but I haven't made me a list up yet... so here's my list:

  1. Drill hole in sink, hook up hot water dispenser;
  2. Hook up garbage disposal;
  3. Replace valve for dishwasher; (I got one with a compression fitting... wish me luck!)
  4. Fix overhead lights;
  5. Make hole in wall for vent for grill and hook it up;
  6. Move washer and dryer from basement and hook them up;
  7. Re-hang peninsula overhead cupboards... we got them too low the first time...;
  8. Work on bar;
  9. Get windows for front room and install them;
  10. Clean out hot tub and call service person;
  11. Mow leaves.
Hell, that's enough for one week.

I noticed that, according to my day counter, on xmas day this journal will have been on-line one thousand days.

More later....

Thanx for being here!
