Journal Entry
Just a short li'l entry today...
I got called in early last night, but I did get eight hours of sleep first. Really busy initially, but better later, in fact, almost dead.... pretty nice.
And a damned good thing, too, because my knee hurt fiercely all night. Taking Aleve, like the doc told me to, wearing the brace...
I don't really know what to expect, never having injured a knee before. I want it to be better now, and I know that won't happen, but I still want it.
So I went officially to see the Dr after work. He said that it was strained, and should heal up OK and put me kinda on restricted duty... I can't lift, push or pull anything over ten pounds. Huh, not likely.
I'll just get the nurses to bring my patients to me and put them on the table...
Right!
That'll last until the first time we get busy, anyway, with some of the nurses...
So it's later than I want it to be... past my bedtime.
