A not-so-busy night last night, kinda unusual and welcome for a Friday night.
I did get a good sleep yesterday, which helped a lot. And I got to finish watching The Stand. I wasn't really very impressed with it... the devil was way too weak, even with all of his posturing. And god wasn't all that with it, either.
I got home shortly after 07:00 and... no Tyler. I hitched up the trailer and waited until almost 08:00 then I left to get the cabinets. The guy who sold them to us helped me load up the first load and I was back home pretty quickly, and Tyler was there when I got back. He had thought that I'd said 08:00, so he got home about then...
He helped me unload and we went to get the rest of it and brought it back. Then we cleaned up the place a little, did some shifting around, and then moved the base cabinets in.
My first thought was, "It ain't a-gonna work." Unfortunately, I still pretty much feel that way about it. The modifications that I thought that I could do to make it work... won't work.
So... we gotta think of some other way to make it work. This will probably involve more work, of course.
The room seemed so big before we put the cabinetry in it! And now it seems so... well, small.
Well, I'm gonna sleep on it, see what happens...
