A very very pud night again, and that's good, 'cause I only got seven hours of sleep yesterday.
And I did snag a coupla more doors, too, just in case I should run out before I thought I would. Them damned things get heavier every time I heft one, even the three-footers. Or I'm getting weaker, one or 'tother. Or both.
It rained off and on most of the night last night, and now it's supposed to get up to 96F today, which will set a record. And I saw that the high Sunday will only be 67, but I missed what is supposed to happen tomorrow. And speaking of the weather, I hope that Georges isn't too hard on Florida today.
My buddie Pat loaned me some old Sci-Fi tapes, including The Stand and The Day the Earth Stood Still. I'm looking forward to seeing them, 
it's been a long time since I enjoyed a movie, it seems. Most of the "Sci-Fi" stuff they've done lately doesn't really interest me... the special effects, all of that stuff...
Star Wars ruined me.
I'm looking forward to getting to sleep... Karen is off today, she had a root canal done yesterday and her mouth still hurts. She had planned on taking off today anyway, but she was wanting to have fun instead of suffering...
And I'm looking forward to this weekend, getting started on the project. I'm starting to get more enthusiastic about it all the time...
