Another really bad day for sleeping... the water people were out front again, woke me up at 13:00 and I was unable to get back to sleep until about 17:00.
But it was a better night. My trainee, Tesesa, was there, and I decided that I would leave about 02:00... but that didn't work, I had a spiral CT to do from the ED. Then there was a fellow being flown in via Lifestar with a possible ruptured aortic aneurysm, so I stayed and did that CT too. Luckily, his anuerysm wasn't leaking, but he did have some other, not quite-so-urgent problems.
But I did leave about 04:30. One of the security guys, my buddy Steve, told me that there were some more doors in the dumpster, so I snagged three more doors on my way home. There were five there, but the other two were the four-footers, and I decided not to take them.
One of these doors is unblemished, it will be the top of my computer desk when I move back upstairs.
I finally got to talk to JD and Tyler last night; I wished JD a belated happy birthday and talked to Tyler about coming up and helping me with the kitchen... and he'll be up in a week or so! I'm pretty excited about this, both because I've missed him a lot and I sure could use the help!
So... I'm tard and excited. And I got the CD drive for Mom's new (kinda) computer in the mail yesterday, so everything is on schedule for me to go down there this coming weekend.
So... I'm gonna go take my medicine and go to bed... Karen isn't even up yet, I'll surprise her...
