First off...
Yesterday's entry did not describe a recent occurrence... just one that I am forced to think about frequently. Like anytime I think about love, relationships, dependency...
Last night was a real bitch. Run, run, run all night long. Legs are about ready to give out on me. I was kinda planning on going fishing this morning, but I'm way too tired for that. Some other day, real soon, I hope.
The previous two nights were OK, all in all. Kinda busy, but no running, no confusion. I got to smoke a coupla cigarettes clear through. Last night, I got my lunch and sat down and started eating in the cafeteria. Half-way through, I got paged to do a chest in the ICU. I covered my food up, thinking that I'd get back pretty quick.
When I was processing the first film, I got paged to the ED, and wound up doing three patients. I went back to the cafeteria right before they closed and threw away the rest of my lunch (turkey and mashed taters and gravy) and retrieved my iced tea. And then by the time I got to drink my tea, the ice was all gone and the waxed cup was about to collapse.
I know, I know... bitch bitch bitch. I'll stop.
And what's with all of these people saying that we bombed... wherever... because Clinton wanted a distraction? Is that a bunch of bullshit or what?
Clinton saw the movie... he knows what people are thinking. But he went ahead, trying to do the right thing. Whether or not it's the right thing is a wholly different question, of course.
I don't really think that bombs are going to faze these terrorists. They need to be hunted down and killed individually. Which would mean that 
we need a number of people as bloodthirsty as they are... only on our side.
And having bloodthirsty people on your side is far from ideal, when you think about it. Because when you're done with them, and they have no more targets... why, You're the target then! It's a never-ending cycle...
On the other hand, Clinton already has a cadre of troops in place... domestic, of course... according to This site. (Link courtesy of Michael Morris.)(And rats, that link doesn't work. Anyhoo, it enumerated the "mysterious" deaths that Clinton has on his head) Such an assemblage of people who could do the described actions and get away with it could surely rid the world of terrorists.
Of course, then they might start on the Republicans...
