I did go to bed shortly after finishing my entry last night, and I pretty much slept all night long. I felt much better when I got up at 05:30.
My dentist appointment was at 08:00, and I got there a few minutes early. I overheard in a converstaion between the receptionists that the dentists' assistant was caught in traffic and would be late. No big deal.
She finally arrived, and I was seated in the familiar chair, waiting for the torture to begin. People seemed to be fiddling around a lot more than normal, and nothing was happening to my mouth. That's OK, I'm a patient person.
Pretty soon, the assistant tells me that they've lost my tooth. It was sent by Pony Express, and they were trying to find out where it went to. We waited another half-hour or so, then they told me that I would have to re-schedule, they still hadn't found the damned thing.
So... I went on to work. It was another very busy day, lotsa patients, one after another. I think that we did seventeen patients before noon, which is more than the number usually done in a single day. And another fifteen before I left about 17:15. Again, very tard. Legs hurting, I guess I need to make an appointment to see about getting them fixed.
Karen and I are going to go to a movie tonight, we haven't been to a show for quite a while. I can't remember what she wants to see, but I know that I don't particularly want to see anything, so it's up to her. I just hope that it's something that will keep me awake...
