Well, I managed to stay up all night all right, and half of the day, too. And it was productive, if you wanna call spending money productive.

I've been using Photoshop for a while now, and I love it, natch... it'll be good having a legitimate registered copy. Yup, I been feeling guilty. Office '97 has some bells and whistles that I really like, I've got Office 95 Pro but I wasn't going to pay the $365 that MS wants for the upgrade.

The 6.4 gig drive will double my storage capacity, and I've been wanting a notebook for the last ten years...

Now all I need to do is get another 32 meg of RAM for this Compaq and I'll be set for the rest of my life... well, for another year, anyway...

Arrrrgh! I just got an email from the guy with the laptop, he apparently had a "reserve" of $300.00 on the laptop and he is "considering" my bid. I guess that he does have the right to do this, according to the rules of the auction.

I have heard back from the guy that has Photoshop and the one with Office, that's all OK, anyway. They took my visa... the other guys want Money Orders before they'll ship, which is OK too...

eBay is definitely addictive. I can't seem to stay away from their site... something like a garage sale, which thing I have learned to avoid in real life... I'll let you guess why... I already got more junk than anyone needs. On the other hand, I sure would like to have a digital camera...

And it would be real nice to get mom a 486 box for about $200.00...

But right now I gotta get showered and ready for work; Kim and Karen are fixing supper, so I better hurry!
