Yesterday was a really shitty day for sleeping. I just could not get to sleep, and if I did, I would wake up almost immediately. I finally remember looking at the clock about 13:30 for the last time, then it was about 17:45 the next time I looked at it. I still stayed in bed until about 19:00, though, thinking that I just might get back to sleep.
And the sleep that I did get was nightmare-ridden... those falling ones, not the fun ones.
On the other hand, I didn't really feel bad last night. It wasn't really really busy but I managed to stay awake pretty well.
I was thinking last night about TRUTH; You know, the universal kind. I decided that there were very few universal truths. Truth is meaningless except in the context of the person doing the thinking... it is a strictly local phenomena. Except for death... but come to think of it, if you believe in an afterlife, death isn't a universal truth either.
So, you see, I can be right all of the time!
That wasn't really why I started thinking about that, but it isn't a bad conclusion. And, of course, it reinforces the way I've felt all along.
Unfortunately, anyone who thinks can apply the same logic. The difference is that they would still be wrong and I would be right. See how that works? And then, when you factor in the number of people who don't think...
I guess the fatigue syndrome is setting in now... I'm starting to get goofy. And I still have work to do. So far, since I
And somewhere in there, I need to get some sleep. Maybe I'll do that first...
got home, I've aired up the tires on the Saab, changed the tire on the van, cleaned the battery terminals on the Saab and hooked up the battery charger on the van. I decided the hell with fixing the brakes on the van myself, I'm gonna take it to a mechanic. And instead of trying to fix the headlight lens on the Saab, I'm gonna buy a new one. So all I really need to do is fix the dash lights on the Saab and wash it, clean a little of the bird shit off of it. The dash light problem wasn't a fuse, but the dimmer switch. I've got a couple of those around her somewhere, I just need to find them and get out the soldering pencil.
