Back to work... and it's just like it was when I left, with a few changes is personnel. Well, a lot of changes, actually... one of the girls who has worked evenings for the last 12 years has taken the job in the cath lab, and she is being replaced with 1.5 FTEs.

Income tax day... the papers will have all of their normal articles about the people who file on the last day. I had ours direct-deposited, and it hit the bank on the day that we left for Arizona.

I kinda like getting ahead of the game. I'll have to try to do that more frequently.

I laid down at about 18:45 and I almost got to sleep when the alarm went off at 19:45, so I kept pounding the snooze-bar until about 20:15. Got up, showered and came in to work. I actually feel that I did get some rest; I feel pretty good now and it's 02:30.

And all of the storms missed us. There were some twister touchdowns about 50 miles SE of here, but no injuries, the thing just ran through some fields and took a barn. Watching a replay of the radar was neat... the clouds were forming in a line just to the west of Topeka and then blowing east and north before they really started doing anything. This line went from north of Omaha down into Oklahoma. Big system. However, they cancelled our tornado watch about 22:30, saying that all of the moist air went to the east and that it was replaced with drier air from the north. So no fireworks tonight....

Got busy there for a while... a long while. Run my little legs off, actually. Well, not that bad, maybe, but steady, anyway. Enough to really make me tired.

So, I got home a coupla minutes ago, and there's a note from Kim on the computer monitor... my dentist is sick, and I need to re-schedule. Well, fine, then. Anytime that a dds appt needs to get cancelled or postponed makes me happy... until my tooth starts hurting. That is what I'm trying to avoid... preventive dentistry, they call it. I usually do it the other way around, wait until it hurts so much that I can't stand it, then go.

Really tired. I think that I'll go to bed now...
