Yesterday was not too bad, all in all. Patrick and Lacee went over to Steve's shortly after dark, and Brian was so worn out that he went to sleep shortly after. Karen, Kim and Bob watched the Oscars while I played on the computer. I went to bed about 00:30 and went right to sleep.

When I woke up this morning about 08:00, Brian was in bed with us and the TV in the living room was showing cartoons. I read the paper, drank a pot of coffee and had breakfast. Then I decided that I could go back to sleep. As usual, I was wrong.

Karen took Brian to get a haircut and shopping and I just puttered around, took the trash out etc., nothing very exciting at all. So, I decided that I could go back to sleep. Again, no luck.

So I went to Taco Tico, my favorite mexican resturant and had a tacoburger and a sancho, then I stopped by the CAT association and talked to Betsy for a while. Came back home and decided to try to go to sleep. Karen and Brian were back, so I got Karen to give me a back rub, thinking that might work. To make a long story short, it didn't.

So... right now I don't really need to sleep, but I really want to, for if I don't it will be really rough tonight. I have the feeling that it will be busy, because it's a beautiful day, temp around 70F and light southerly breezes. People will be itching to get off work and go out and hurt themselves. Plus this is spring break week for all of the kids around here, which will add considerably to the injuries all by itself.

And it's about 16:00, if I'm gonna get any sleep I have to do it now... so here I go again!
