I damned near forgot to do an entry today. It was a close thing...

I got some more support for my latest non-smoking campaign this morning from Spring Dew, who quit smoking at the new year.

I need all of the help that I can get, of course, as long as no resorts to praying for me.

I had a pretty non-productive day... I was up late last night, after trying to get to sleep about 23:00. I had called in to renew my prescription for Zantac, I take the 300mg tabs, which are prescription. Well, the doc had to OK it, and I didn't get it called in until Friday night. So they couldn't fill it until Monday AM at the earliest.

So about 00:30 last night I went out and bought the non-prescription 75 mg tabs and made it through the night after taking only two of them. I still stayed up until 03:30, though, and I didn't get up until after 11:00 this morning.

I got the oil changed on the caddie and went out to Sam's to get some stuff... and decided, what the hell, I'm gonna quit smoking, I'll get some candy. So I did, about $15.00 worth... Good & Plenties and those little butter mints... mmmmmMMM!

Bob was over for a short while tonight, and he has also declared his intention to quit smoking. He, like me, is on his last pack of cigarettes.

I think that I'll stay up tonight until all of the cigarettes are gone. I'll probably do what I did most of the day... online, just goofing off.

I called Marva this afternoon, thinking that we could get together for coffee, but her answering machine answered... I hope that she's all right. I worry too much about her...

I also discovered, while I was looking up Marva's number, that my Schedule+ was missing my address file. How could that be? I wiped out a lot of files (intentionally) off of my E disk, and I had forgotten that that file lived there... since I didn't trust my C drive anymore... and, of course, I haven't backed up my E drive ever....

Somewhere around here I do have a floppy with info on it for up until November 1996... if I can find it... and so far I haven't been able to. Shit.

I still haven't heard back again from my domain-providers... I'm getting very impatient. After all, it's been about a month, ain't that about long enough?
