Damn! I got ten hours of sleep again today! I must be doing something right... I wonder what it is?

I finally got news about my virtual domain today, it should be up and going sometime in the near future, I'll probably have time to work on it Monday and Tuesday. 100 megabytes storage and FP extensions... whatever that means, I need to be finding out about that, I guess. I did get the Frontpage '98 demo disk, but I never messed with it and it's expired now. I guess I can set the date back on my computer and run it and find out a little bit more. Is that cheating? I hope not, 'cause I'm gonna do it anyway...

It has been a busy night so far, started running when I got here. Slowed down a little bit now, I hope it stays that way. But it is Friday Night... the knife and gun clubs will be meeting...

Just talking to one of the security guys... there is a patient in peds whose father came up to visit him. The mother and father are divorced, and the mother's boyfriend was in the patient's room, and he refused to let the father see his child. Well, the father promptly kicked the boyfriend's ass, and security sent the boyfriend out the door. Then the boyfriend calls the hospital and says that he is on the way here to blow the father away with his trusty .357. Most likely this is a bluff, a way for the guy to save face.

But I'm not hanging around the lobby, just in case it isn't. And if I hear shots, I will be running in the opposite direction, thank you. I will be running very fast, I might add.

And now for something serious... I told Karen that, in order to pay for my domain name/virtual server, I would quit smoking. Well, the time is near, and I feel like I'm almost ready. I think that it'll be a couple of days yet, but when it's up and running, I'm quitting.

Aren't you getting tired of hearing this shit? Don't you just wish it'd be the last time?

That is my sincere intention. Unfortunately, every time I've quit, it's been my sincere intention to stay quit. And this time I mean it. And, of course, I've meant it every damned time that I've said it...

Sometimes I tend to analyze things too much. Fuck it... I'm just gonna quit, and that's it.
