Ha!

I mean, "Ho, Ho, Ho!

I got the outside xmas lights up finally. So I have officially got what I consider to be the xmas spirit. Most people would consider it just up a step from humbuggery, but the hell with them anyway.

I got a bad night's sleep, up two or three times, weird nightmares. I got up finally when Karen got up to go to work, then I went back to sleep at 09:00 and slept until 12:30.

I put ads in the paper again for the vehicles, I hope that we get a better response this time. We really need the money, as always.

We're supposed to get some bad weather coming in this weekend, I'm looking forward to some snow. The good weather that we've been having lately kinda bothers me, it's not supposed to be this way in Kansas in December. Good ol' El Nino, I guess.

The guy came by finally and looked at the hot tub... the main board is out on it, probably $200 or so. If it ain't one damned thing, it's another. However, it will be really nice to have it running again, Karen and I have missed it a lot this season.

There's just something about being with someone in a hot tub... it seems like you can talk about things that you normally can't, probably because of the distractions. In the hot tub, there's just the cold air and the hot water and the stars and the other person. We miss that a lot.

I just got a nice surprise. We have a Duracraft humidifier that we got a couple of years ago, and it malfunctioned last year. Well, I tried fixing it with no luck, and as I was about ready to toss it, I noticed that it had an 1-800 number to call for service or questions. So, it's been setting here for a couple of weeks, and I finally called the toll-free number. After all of the phone service stuff (press 1 for english, 2 for chinese, 3 for... and press 9 to talk to a real person... finally) I got to talk to a guy who patiently listened to my problem and what I had done to try to correct it. He made a couple of suggestions and then asked me when I had bought the machine. I told him a couple of years ago, and he told me where to look on the machine for the manufactured date. I read it off to him and he told me that model/manufacturer number was recalled, and that they would send me a new unit! So, I'm tickled pink about that. Sometime shit works out right... even for $40!

O'yeah! I joined another journal ring today... Journal Windows. I could explain it, but just go here. to see what it's about. Actually, I haven't been confirmed yet, so I might not be accepted... nah! Everybody loves me! (Right!)
