Finally... a decent day's sleep! Karen was sick and stayed home today... she's not been feeling well since before she went to KC with Kim, but she got some antibiotics Monday, but it takes a while for them to kick in, of course.

Things sure do look different when one has adequate rest... amazing difference!

Part of my problem has been a low-level toothache, which is slowly escalating up the pain ladder. In fact, part of the sinus problem is probably related to an infected wisdom tooth. The roots of my teeth end just barely below my maxillary sinus, and an infection in either will affect both.

I had my lower two wisdom teeth removed when I was in the Army, in 1969, right before I got out. The dentists, or maybe it was dental students, were trying a new technique on me... they split the teeth into four parts and removed each part separately. Well, that was the theory. What happened was that they removed three of the four parts, but they had to go digging for the fourth one. With scalpels and hemostats. On both sides.

This was about six weeks before I got out. They wanted to remove the upper ones, too, but I said no thanks. I'll let a civilian (that I can sue) do it when it needs to be done.

It was almost ten years later when I had the next one taken out. It was impacted, and it was a lot of trouble to get out, too. The oral surgeon told me that the other one, the last one, could stay until I wanted it pulled.

Well, that time is now. That sonovabitch hurts, and I want it gone.

Home... Karen must still be sick, she isn't up yet. And I was really ambitious earlier, wanting to get started on the plumbing project, but I think that I'll just curl up in bed instead. Hard to keep the eyes open, and my concentration is on the wane. Or maybe it's just all gone. Yes, that's it.

Anyway....

BedddeaBuddeeeeaBuddeeeah.... that's all, folks!

Thanx for being here!
