...Really really late...

Another lousy day's sleep! This is like, four in a row, and I'm getting tired of it. I woke up every two hours yesterday. At 16:00, I noticed that the cats were paying a lot of attention to me... I hadn't fed them. So I went to feed them, and there was no cat food. So I got dressed and went to C.A.T. and got a bag of food and made them happy; then I went back to bed. I had the alarms set for 19:15, and it was the battle of the snoozebars again... I finally got up at 20:15 and came in to work.

And work has been interesting tonight, several different kinds of patients… one guy who was very drunk and obnoxious and a kid with an attitude (as described by a couple of Topeka’s Finest) and a bullet in the bottom of his foot

Other than that, things are relatively quiet around here... it is cold enough to keep most people indoors. We missed the promised snow the last several days, though, and I don't think that there is any in our forecast anytime soon, darnit.

I generally enjoy snow to some extent. It kinda covers up a lot of ugly things, puts a fresh coat on everything. That is so damned temporary, though. The snow is always dirty by the next day, people moving it around and driving on it and stuff like that. Yes, it's people that mess up the world.

And speaking of stuff like that, have I mentioned lately that the world would be a much better place if 96% of the people were gone? Only, of course, if I get to do the pickin' and choosing... I should mention, regular readers of Nilknarf! will get a free pass...
