Not a bad night, all things considered. I did do some running early on, but not too much. And the guy who came in late yesterday (I forgot to mention that... I can't leave until someone else gets there, so if they're late, I gotta stay...) came in early today, so I left about 15 minutes early. Which meant that I got to see Karen, and that always makes me happy.

So, this is the way it is, re:smoking. Smoke 24 hours: don't smoke, 24 hours: smoke 24 hours. Repeat until dead or confused.

I had to do a lot of running around this morning, getting prescriptions, a 30-day permit for the caddy, stuff like that. Washing some clothes for the trip... packing at the last minute, of course.

I do believe that I will be able to update from Texas, but don't count on it. I'm also going to take my reminder list with me, see if I can make that work with whatever Tyler is running on his machine... once again, don't count on it.

-----Testicular Update-----
Seems to be better again, but still pretty painful. Ibuprophin seems to help. I decided not to go see the doc today; I need to rest, and I don't think that he'll have anything to add to his "Gee, I donno?" although he will probably want an ultrasound. The way it feels right now, I would have to have a general anesthetic before they could do that... (that's a joke, folks...)

I was talking to a girl that works in admissions last night, and the subject came up about the female tech that was working with me the night before. The admissions girl said that she sure was cute, and I told her that I hadn't really noticed, that looks didn't really impress me much the older I got, but the type of person that they were and their level of intelligence impressed me more. She looked kinda surprised to hear this, and I then noticed that, by most standards, this admissions girl would be described as beautiful.

I don't think that I poked any holes in her ego, though. She is a very nice, personable girl who is intelligent and beautiful to boot.

One Year Ago today it was snowing like hell. Broke a bunch of trees down, etc. That's not gonna happen this year....

-----20:01-----
I got a fairly good sleep, and I think that I will leave a little bit later tonight, over Karen's protests. I really enjoy driving at night, and there is far less traffic. I will have a flashlight and the phone, and I will probably be safer driving at night than in the daytime.

I haven't mentioned lately how cute Lacee is... we picked her up from her dance class tonight, she is wearing her little tu-tu and is really bubbly and cute as she can be. I'm getting the idea, though, that she may be getting a little spoiled...

Later... from Texas.

Thanx for being here!
