I'm starting to claw my way back to good health. Incidentally, for you purists, I do know how to spell throne, look at the context!

I have actually been awake most of the day. I even ate some stuff and didn't throw it up! What I ate was not something that normally gives me gas, but I have been a methane-producing machine this afternoon. Karen was out with Kim, so she was spared most of the action, however.

The pattern does continue, however; the longer that I am up, the worse I feel. I decided last night that I would not go back to work tonight, especially after going back too early after the first bout of this shit. I am glad that I made that decision.

This has been a beautiful day, but still too hot for the first week of October. Strong southerly wind, but it's supposed to return to seasonal normals later this week. I am ready for fall... we've missed out the last couple-three years. Last year, we had the heavy wet snow-storm on 22 Oct, when the leaves were still on the trees, lotsa destruction. The year before, I think, it just went from hot to cold. No fall at all.

It is peaceful around here right now... no little kids running up and down, in and out... Gee, I love 'em all, but... it's so peaceful...
