Manaña!

MANAÑA!

Muchos Gracias to Anita Rowland of "Anita's Book of Days" for her quick response to my cry for help. Well, I guess it wasn't a cry for help, but an admission of ignorance, and she helped me become smarter. And that is a nice thing for anybody to do.

I do feel slightly vindicated. Today, the French branch of the Catholic Church is issuing an apology for its error of omission: they didn't tell people not to kill jews, and, well, maybe they should've said something.

The Catholic Church is not noted for the timliness of its apologies.

Maybe the Lutherans will be next? Or did they do that already and I missed it?

Back to real life, if I could be considered to have one during my work weeks: I got killed last night. It was make-up night, a payback for sitting on my ass Friday and Saturday. Dammit, it always evens out. I have this illusion that someday I will come out ahead...

I only got about four hours of rest yesterday. I got up to pee about 13:00 and Karen was watching the Chiefs on the tube. She innocently said, "The Chiefs are winning!" So I had to sit down and watch until they pretty well had the game put away. They were, like, 11-point underdogs...

It seems like there was something else that I was going to say, but it's gone now. O'well, if I think of it later I'll write about it, if I don't, it was a small loss...

So, it's off to bed for me...

Thanx for being here!
