This has been a day... weird, but strange.
It started out with me getting up this morning, and going to work. That in itself is very strange. I just barely made it to work on time, again.
I screwed up on the cat scanner several times today. I figger that I'm a lot better off screwing up when someone can fix my fuck-ups instead of doing it in the middle of the night when I have to figger it out and fix it myself...
But all of that is neither weird or strange, and I promised you weird and strange. OK, here it comes....
While Karen was gone swimming yesterday, I decided to watch Fargo, since she wasn't very enthusiastic about it...(and neither was I, really)... and I really enjoyed it. Not nearly as much blood and guts as I expected, and nobody that I really liked got killed. And I loved the way they talked.
Karen fixed some shis-kabobs for supper, and some veggies in a white sauce. Sometimes I'm convinced that I don't deserve her... besides being a wonderful woman she can be a helluva cook. And I'm a guy that likes peanut-butter sandwiches...
Anyway, during supper (and after) we watched Jerry McGuire. It was interesting, I guess. I'm glad that we didn't pay to watch it, though. So, my favorite movie this weekend was Ransom. Mostly because I liked the hero, what's his name, Melvin something-or-another.
I talked to my mom last night, she's doing very well. Then I called JD and Tyler. Tyler is on his way back up here, after a stop-off in Arlington, TX. He probably won't get here before bedtime, but he has a key so I won't worry about him. He's bringing JD's computer up with him, so I can fix it. I hope that I can fix it, anyway...
O'yeah! The point/counterpoint was Al's idea. His Nova Notes entry of Sunday set the scene from his side, and Wednesday I'll have something to say about that. So... stay tuned!

I came home after work and I didn't turn on the computer.
I got my checkbook and went to pick up some prescriptions and some Marlboro Light 100s (in a box).
I came home and checked the mail. The bank statement was here.
I turned on the computer and....
Reconciled my bank statement!
