Well, I was wanting to sleep until about 10:00 this morning, but Karen woke me up at 06:30 and told me that Lisa wasn't home with the van and that she was going to take the truck. She's very pissed at Lisa and so am I. I hate being without transportation, especially when I've paid for it... Lisa and I are going to have a long talk when I see her next!

Karen and I went out in the hot tub last night after watching ER. Very pleasant night. On the weeks that I work, Karen and I get to spend almost no time together, and the weeks off we have to make up for it. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. Last night after we ate she went to tan and said that she was going by Kim's to see Lacee and Packy. She had left her keys in the house, so she took mine when she left. With my truck key on my key ring... so I decided to walk over to Kims. It's only about a half-mile or so, but my hip was hurting so much by the time I got there I could hardly walk. For some reason or another, Lacee was being especially cute last night, and I realized that I hadn't seen her for a week or more. We went out to see Steve's garden, he has planted ambitiously, but he really has no clue about having a garden. Not that I do, mind you, but I'm genetically predisposed for gardening. I still manage to avoid it in any way. Steve's cluelessness is demonstrated by this statement/question: "Well, I plowed up all the grass, it's all gone, but what do I do if it grows back?" Well, I know enough to answer that one, and I explained the use of a hoe to him. I'm not really sure that he believed me. We'll see what happens. I do remember enough about gardening from my childhood... hoe them weeds! Pick them worms off them tomatoes! In the hot Oklahoma sun... well, it probably wasn't that bad, really....

I just got a call from Karen, her dad has taken a turn for the worse, her sister Debbie said she thought he was dying, so we will be going down there today instead of tomorrow evening. We will be driving the truck, since the van sounds like it has a u-joint going out. Karen is on her way home now, so I'm going to put this up and get ready to go.

There probably won't be another entry until Monday, when I do the catch-up thing...

Thanx for being here!
