I wuz getting my ass run off. Yesterday I talked about the confusion of code red traumas? Last night there were two simutaneous(SP) code red traumas from a multi-fatality accident, plus a couple of other patients thrown in there for fun. It was one of those nights from hell. It was so bad that I seriously considered just going to bed and not writing an entry this morning. It was so bad that I had to change shirts twice during the night. At one point, I was xraying patients in three different rooms, running from room to room.

It was fun. Seriously, I like being put to the test every little once in a while. Not too damned often, mind you, just every little once in a while!

But I got an excellent backrub from Nancy in ICU and the when Hyon came in at 07:00 I got another one. So I thought that I should repay the world for my good fortune... and now I'm going to get a well-deserved day's sleep!
