      (I am dying for a cigarette! )
      (no you're not!)
      (Yes I AM!)
      (No You're NOT!)
(Yes I AM but I ain't gonna do it!)
      (Don't you DARE do it!)
      (NO! I ain't a-gonna do it!)

A little interior dialogue, there. Yeah, that was me winning that round. No, I'm not gonna slack off and let him get me by surprise. My eyes are wide open and I'm carrying a big stick.

I worked a bunch more on the front page, and I learned a lot today. For instance, Gregory told me that 80% of the internet users are using a 640X480 Pixel screen. I have also read that most machines are capable of more resolution, but the operators/owners don't know how to change the resolution or that it even can be changed. Anyway,, I got straightened out finally, with some help, and proceeded on to other problems. The major one being... if your browser don't do java, you couldn't get in for a period of time. This was after I decided that everyone had java, it was working fine, take the other links off... anyways, I have regular links again, in addition to the javascript ones. Speaking of which ... I didn't recognize them as javascript... Gregory told me that they were. I stole them, of course. From someone on Geocities, is all I remember.

Cardigan wrote to tell me that it was him who had written about putting the toilet seat back down, even when his wife was gone for the weekend. I'm gonna have to start taking notes while I'm cruisin' the journals; that's twice this last week that someone has piped up and said Hey, that's mine! I wrote that! (In a very nice way, on both occasions!) Tomorrow I'll hear from the lawyer of the guy that I stole the javascript from.... he won't be nice, I bet!

Well, it's starting to get pretty damned sleepy around here. My plan is to stay up another hour, then sleep all day tomorrow before I go in tomorrow night to work. Howeveer,, I do remember that someone once said that Murphey was an optimist; (In fact, I just read that somewhere on the WEB tonight!) ...anyway, something will go wrong with my plan. I also plan on being healthy enough to go to work. And I hope that I can talk. I can't work if I can't talk...

08:00
And what was that I said about something going wrong? Is that eerie or what? Wow, how did I know? Anyway... what went wrong: we had a thunderstorm. Karen knows that I love thunderstorms, so she came and woke me up. At 06:00, and I had finally gotten to sleep at about 03:30.

And it wasn't even that good of a thunderstorm! It was a fast-moving one, dumped about 1/2 inch of rain in 10 minutes and was gone. A little pea-sized hail, too.

My job for today is to get some sleep! and I'm going to work on that now....

But first... I've had several inquiries about Dying Diary; it is a fictional work that I started as a therapeutic device the last time (or maybe the time before that) that I stopped smoking. I make it up as I go along, and only update it sporatically. I have fun doing it, too!

I just got done revising my April Calender... does everybody but me know that April only has 30 days? Luckily, I needed to see something on my schedule+ and happened to notice that something was wrong with my head. I had convinced myself that the first of May was on Friday. Well, it ain't. It's tomorrow.

20:05

Wow. Had a good long sleep today, I feel entirely rested and well. Voice is still not quite there yet, though, but enough to be able to go to work.

I decided to start taking my lunch to work with me instead of buying it there. The night cafeterial made some "changes" recently that seemed an awful lot like they doubled their prices and decreased the quantity and quality of their food. I will probably eat less and healthier anyway by taking my own.

I'd better hurry and get this up and get my shower and get to work... it's getting a little late for me to be playing around!

Thanx for being here!
