...Grumpy? Me? No, Crabby?....

Yeah, crabby, that's it. I would very seldom describe myself as either; this has been an exceptional day/night/period of wakefulness.

Karen got me up at 17:45 last evening; everyone was coming over, we were going to decorate the xmas tree. OK, I guess. Soon the kids were running wild; I went down to the basement for something, and there were a couple running the treadmill and dropping stuff on it to see how far it would get thrown. I had to show a couple of other kids some computer games.

So I left for work very early, hoping to get some relaxation time in before actually going to work. I stopped in the department and all hell was breaking loose. So I clocked in and started humping. And it damn near lasted all night long.

I've stated many times that I love my job. I still do. But there are some days... I would feel a lot better (and so would a lot of other people) if I would kill a couple of doctors... that wouldn't solve the problems, though. We just have too much to do and not enough people to do it sometimes. The patients get upset, the docs get upset, and we get upset 'cause we're working as hard and fast as we can.

And the clincher... I had a hard no-lunch. A regular no-lunch is when I get to eat but I get interrupted. A hard no-lunch is no lunch at all! No food in my belly. Hunger kinda trivializes everything else. About 04:30 I got a chance to have a cup-o-soup, it helped a little bit.

Thus the crabbiness. Also, my legs are very tired from all that running. Some nights I wish I had a pedometer on just to see how much I really do walk.

Anyway, I did get some breakfast, and I'm going to bed now. Have a nice Saturday!

Thanx for being here!
