First things first... I messed up yesterday, and attributed a tag line to the wrong person! Oh, I have a good excuse... I lost my ability to see my email, and my educated guess was wrong. But Darlene always sends me neat stuff, too! Anyway...

Hey--I'm not Darlene, but *Cathleen*! as in Blessed are they etc....no, I'm not really mad, just sad to have missed my 15 seconds of fame :-)
And my fervent promise that it'll never happen again. I was trying to spell solumn but I couldn't then I thought I'd replace it with fervent then I realized that I should load up my dictionary because I'm getting myself more confused all the time.

I have spent the morning working on my mail problem, finally found it in the microsoft news group on MS mail and news. MS mail was coming up minimized, even though the properties said it was normal. Changed the normal to maximized and it now works. Halleluya! There IS a god! Whoops! Strike that! Old habits die hard...

Spent even more time online researching the mail problem; I can use MS internet mail, but I can't access it from MSIE 3.01. Nobody else can, either, though, so I don't feel so bad. Lotta problems with the programs, according to the number of complaints in the microsoft newsgroup.

Enough geekiness for right now... I have to kill some cats, or a wife... the cat door is back open again, Karen felt sorry for scroungy and kept letting him in, feeding him, etc. Not a good way to make a cat want to go back to where he belongs, huh. Anyway, somebody (most likely midnight, and probly scroungy, too) is peeing on the table on a regular basis. Especially if there's any papers on the table, but sometimes just on the bare table. I'm getting so goddamned sick of cats! Is there an answer not involving the deaths of the cats involved? I had thought about some sort of electrical device to shock them as they were peeing, but I don't really want to kill them.

Going to get back into newsgroups; my ISP finally got one. I've gotten very frustrated trying to find a public one that would work for more than a few days. Some of the groups that I used to keep up with I miss. Like the bass fishing one, and the radiology one. Most of the other ones are time-wasters... like the stop-smoking one ;^) that's a joke. That'll be the first one I subscribe to!

There are over 19,000 newsgroups on this server; I got the groups, then it started downloading the descriptions and blew up. So I've started all over again. O'yeah, I'll probably see if anything has changed in the porno groups, too;=) although I suspect that they won't have anything that I haven't seen before...

Porno is strange. I have the feeling that I shouldn't like it, but I do to a certain extent. Pictures of naked women just have a way of turning me on. I very seldom will go out of my way to peruse them, but if they're there I'll look. I would certainly never pay a cent to see one, though. But many people do, that's how those guys (and gals) make their livings.

Women making love to women: my favorite subject in porno. That really makes sense to me. I can understand why women find women attractive, 'cause I find women attractive. I understand why men find women attractive. I have no idea why men find other men attractive, and I certainly don't understand why a woman would find any man attractive. I do take advantage of the latter fact, however, as often as I can! In a thoroughly monogamous way, of course...

Well, I guess I won't get in on the bass fishing and the porno today; the damned thing keeps blowing up on me transferring the descriptions. Three times now. It says that MSIE is doing it, maybe I'll close MSIE after I get news up and try it again. Yeah, that sounds like a good idea!

Nah, that didn't work, either. I did get some advice from a guy on the MSN newsgroup on some things to try, but now the server is too busy to let me connect anyway. Maybe later tonight or early in the AM...

I did get something good accomplished... I got the messages from Exchange moved back over to Microsoft Mail... if that's actually good, I'm not really sure at this point.

Still feeling really crummy; even crummier as the day goes by. Even with the medicine, I can't lay down and go to sleep, just start coughing. I did eat some bread earlier, that made me feel better for a while. I just need to get oh, maybe 12 hours of sleep...

Start the work-week tomorrow; Karen is going off to Wichita, her brother from Arizona will be there. I've had to work every time he's visited lately... I wonder if he plans it that way? Just jokin', Chuck...:-)

Thanx for being here!
