Saturday 21:39

Interesting last 24 hours. That's how I started yesterdays' entry. Little did I know... little did I know.

My machine went down before I got the news about Jessa. My Jessa, one of my idols. The first on-line journalist that I discovered. Sage had written about something in the making. She says that she's real. So does Willa. Dammit, so do I!

What we really are here, though, is just excited photons on a screen. Not really very real. What are we where we live? Hmmm. I've got my photos on line. Willa has some too. Sage doesn't have any...(?!) but Jessa had a bunch. So that proves absolutely nothing.

I have friends that know me personally and read my journal regularly. I could give your their names and email addresses... but that proves nothing, either.

Willa has been in the newspaper. That might prove something. No newspaper would ever perpetuate a hoax, huh. Huh? Well, OK, scratch that.

Where is our proof? Can there be any proof, other than blind faith? Not in this on-line world. Not where anyone can pretend to be anyone that they want to be.

I know! I'll get my drivers' license scanned! And put it up at the top of every page! What a waste of bandwidth! Does anybody really want me to do that?

No, let's go on the blind faith. I'll continue doing that, anyway. I just want everyone to know that there's no glory at all in fooling me! O'yeah, Sage put up a piece that I wrote a long time ago about how easy it is to fool me...

Anyway, I'm gonna put this up and go to bed. I'll put another one up later on Sunday after the game. That's the Chiefs.... GO Chiefs! Or not....whatever....

I sure do hope that the people on my mailing list think to check without my reminder. OK, y'all, when ya do, please Re-subscribe! OK?

23:30

Downloading Wintune. Wanna see how fast this sucker really is, see if I can make it even faster. Like, I really need speed. Well, I really Like speed, though.

10:21

OK. I've made up my mind. I will pretend like my elife is just like the rest of my life. Nothing is really real except for me. No one is real except for me. For those of you who are sure about yourselves and no one else, jump on board! I think that there's a name for this...

Was Jessa having fun? Were we having fun reading her? If the answer is "yes" to either of these questions, then it's OK. If the answer is "no" to both of them, then YOU have a problem... I still don't, and neither does Jessa (or whoever). Incidentally, my answers were "yes" and I do hope that she continues her journal in whatever for it may take. I will certainly continue reading it, I know that!

Speaking of journals, there are a couple who are blatantly religious. This offends me. I don't read them. I'm sure that they are offended by my pages, too, and they don't read me either. Actually, I'm not offended by their pages, just bored.

There are some religious people (online journalers) who don't make their religion a focus of their pages, don't seem to want to convert the online world to their way of thinking. I really like this. A couple of them are interesting enough that I read them every day.

That said, they might still find me offensive enough that they never read me. I hope not, but I'm not gonna spend any time worrying about it.

Jessa did mess up my train of thought on why we do this, though. I don't know if I can forgive her for that. I was that close to getting it all figgered out! Then she does this to us. O'well, I'll just keep working on it.

Anybody else out there gonna come clean with us? Anyone? Do it now, so we can get on with our elives.

I had forgotten how much work is involved in setting up a computer. Getting it tuned up just the way you want it, getting all the programs in the right places, etc. Programs that I use on a daily basis, but had forgotten about. Where are those damned disks? Where is the documentation? Why? Why? Why? Why don't I do backups? O'well, I probably never will.

Anyway, it's 12:36 and the Chiefs are on and I'm discouraged with them. That's why I'm in here... but I'm going to put this up and come back later and finish up the day...

16:45

I need to fix my clock somehow where it'll do 24-hour time. I haven't found the place to change that yet.

The Chiefs suck. Gannon did good once they put him in, though. They still lost big-time. After the game, Karen and Kim and I went out to Sams. I avoided buying any software, though. But I did buy an extra-large bag of peanut m&m's... like, I really need those! Karen has laryngitis, can't speak above a whisper. It was fun watching her during the game... lots more fun than watching the game!

I still need my Notify List people to tell me who they are!

Thanx for being here!
