This is an attempt to use WordPerfect 97 as a HTML editor. So far, it seems to be working OK. We shall see...

Another really slow night at Med-Assist. Got a good day's sleep to start the week off, though. Getting through the first day relatively unscathed by sleep deprivation is important to my schedule and does set the tone for the rest of the work-week.I've been getting more email lately than I know how to handle. Well, not really, it's kinda nice. I do like to return mail in a timely fashion, though, and a lot of the stuff I've been getting lately makes me think and that slows me down considerably. Not that I mind thinking, but I like to do it right, none of this off-the-top-of-my-head stuff.

Slow night at the hospital, too. We've finally moved partially into the digital age... we've got a DR (Digital Radiography) system from Fuji. So far, I've not had much in the way of training on it. That will happen next week. I hope that this is just the first part of the system, and that we will eventually be filmless. Right now, we take the images and run them into a camera, which then puts them on film and develops the film. Eventually, the whole thing will be in a LAN system, with viewing consoles everywhere they might be needed, with film being used only for specific purposes.

This is really strange, not doing the HTML coding as I go along. I might even get to where I like it. Maybe not, though. Right now, I'm not really comfortable with it. Maybe it'll grow on me.

I really doubt it, though. I have just spent the last 15 minutes getting all of the odd characters out of the text. Back to first base, or further, maybe.

I added a couple of other journals to my Other Journals (Non-Open Pages). Interestingly, they are both returns. Laurel quit writing in, like, April, and just started up again, and Larissa just quit a couple months ago and I just found out this morning from Willa's entry from yesterday that she had started again. Great! More stuff to read! Welcome them back if you get a chance!

I got lots of info about the poppies from various people in my mailbox this morning. Thanx, everyone! The only part left unanswered is.... why did they quit?

I've been mulling some stuff over about journal-writing for a couple of weeks now. Getting ready to get inspired to write something meaningful. Don't Laugh... it could happen!

I don't know what that means or why I put it there or why I decided to leave it there. It seemed appropriate at the time... 30 seconds ago... but it looks desperate and pathetic now. I really don't want a bunch of people tramping into my bathroom and looking in my mirror. Especially since I'll be trying to sleep. Maybe that's what it is... I'm trying to sleep already!
