Well, I did get to write just a little bit before all hell broke loose... and continued throughout the night. Right now, my legs are shakey and I feel like I've been up for a week... but it was just ten hours. I got to do lotsa interesting stuff. There was just too much of it for one night.
O'well, it makes up for plenty of other nights.
OK. Bad news. I'm starting to get cocky about this no smoking deal. When I start thinking I got it made is when I'm most vulnerable. So I gotta step back and look at it objectively. I'm in my third night of not smoking. I have a long, long way to go. I have gone up to a week before on the patch, then I broke down. Did ten days after my heart attacks, but a good part of that was enforced (I was confined and watched...) in the hospital.
Later... I'm not so cocky now. Rough night, and I just spent ten minutes talking myself out of bumming a cigarette. Then I realized that my patch had fallen off, and I recovered it and reattached it with plastic tape. They're workin' me too hard tonight!
Again, I want to thank you all for your support!
Time for some rest....
Day 03 is history! No Smoke!
