A long, long evening and night. Not much excitement at my Medassist job, and not much at the hospital until about 03:30, when we had an MVA come in. Kept me busy until about 07:00.
I've been looking at scanners, and I have a question that I need some help with. Some scanners are advertised at 300 DPI but interpolated to 1200 DPI. That seems like a long stretch... 4X the resolution through software. Can this be? Surely it must be, or they couldn't advertise it this way... Anyway, they also have 600 DPI scanners at about 2X the $. Are they worth it? Anyone have any scanner experience? I would appreciate any help. I used to save all of my old PC mags, but I threw them away recently... I knew I shouldn't do that! I remember reading a "best of" thing for scanners, but I wasn't very interested at the time...
This is going to be short, this body is very tired...
