I was right... I was able to sleep last night. And all day today, too. Which is really unfortunate, because I had all sorts of things to get done today. I guess I'll do them tomorrow, huh. Sixteen hours of snoozing, interrupted about 10:00 by hunger; I got up and ate a bowl of corn flakes, then went back to bed. Slept until 17:00. I should be in good shape now.

Karen is upstairs making cookies and ravioli. She's upset at me 'cause I slept all day. Midnight is upset at me 'cause I won't scratch her back constantly. She's too fat to scratch her own back, so I've spoiled her. Doggie ignores me anymore, but she really sucks up to Karen. Hell, I'm the one that got her flealess... she thought I was just tormenting her, probably. Then she comes down in the basement with Karen and while we were talking, she takes a crap on the floor. I yelled at her, but of course she can't hear me.

Living alone has definite advantages, doesn't it.

I'm seriously considering moving the computer back upstairs. There are some things I like about being down here, but there are disadvantages too. Like fighting my way through spider webs every time I come down, if I've been away a few hours. I guess I need to bomb down here, too. I don't know if the bombs kill spiders... they don't work that well on fleas. We finally got some stuff to put on the carpet and upholstery that did the trick for them.

There is a greater degree of isolation down here, though. I kinda like that sometimes. Plus I haven't really got this set up right yet. I need to do just a little more rearranging and see how I like it then. Karen still won't like it, though. Sometimes there's a line... I really like to please Karen, but I like to please myself, too.

I just did something that I have never done before and that I will never do again. While we were eating Karen's marvelous supper, we were watching TV. I paused on a channel, and Karen said "Oooo! Let's watch this! It's a really good show!" So we did. Friends was the name of the show. It was really stupid, painfully so. Karen said that it's one of the most popular shows on TV for the last couple of seasons. I am really worried about our society. Or maybe it's just me. Did the "older folks" (like I am one of now) think that Mash and All in the Family were stupid? As opposed to Bonanza? I guess I'll stick to the weather channel and Headline News and CNN.

Thanx for being here!
