Ah, it was a long old night. Short sleep yesterday. Hard work last night, the opposite of the night before. Didn't even get a chance to start the journal entry. Interesting, though. I was really tempted to not write today, but my conscience got the better of me.

Wednesday night at Medassist... we had a young man about 12 come in with a head laceration. The nurse was taking care of him, but she had a phone call so I relieved her very quietly. The doc had his back to me and was unaware of the change. He was just starting his stitching, and was telling the boy's sister and mom why scalp wounds bleed so freely. He was explaining that there are a lot of things in the scalp that need lots of blood. "Especially the hair follicles," he said. "They need lots of blood supply. If they don't have enough blood supply, well, you'll go bald." I cleared my throat and said, "...Which is not necessarily a bad thing..." He turned and saw me and almost had to take a break before he could continue stitching.

I'm having to make a major decision; I've gotten some more information on the Phelps gang. Putting it up in these pages would most likely make me a target of their rage, which would be very uncomfortable. Many of them are lawyers or disbarred lawyers. On the other hand, not putting it up would be a waste of good information, and a lack of attention to civic duty on my part. I still have a long way to go getting it organized, though, so it'll probably be a couple of weeks before it's up.

My informational sources have insisted on remaining anonymous, if that's a hint of the viciousness of these people.

JD and Karen and I worked outside for an hour or so yesterday, it really made a big difference. JD is staying over today and will do a lot more work while I sleep... which is really nice of him. I raised a good kid. Actually, two really good kids. JD will be leaving Saturday AM. He's a real pleasure to be around. And so is Tyler. Damn, I miss them not being closer!

Very tired, I'm going to FTP this and go to bed. 'Night, all... and... Thanx for being here!

Thanx for being here!
