Just got back from the hospital, Debi had her surgery and is doing well.
He's driving up tomorrow, driving his girlfriends' honda, gets 50MPG he says. It's a good twelve-hour trip, a long drive for one day. I hope that he gets plenty of sleep tonight...
Karen and I had made plans to go to Wichita this weekend, so that kinda threw a monkey-wrench into that, but Karen will still go by herself, its been a couple of months since she's been down, even longer since I've been down with her. But JD hasn't been up here since last Feb, either. Why is everything so complicated? Wait, don't tell me, let me figger it out by myself... pause... pause... OK, go ahead, tell me.
I did get a little work done around here today. Washed a load of clothes, cleaned the kitchen, baked a loaf of bread... well, I didn't really finish anything I started, but I did get started, which is better than I did yesterday. This housework stuff is so damned boring...

Mmmmm I love fresh-baked bread! Even if it's out of a box... Well, I said that I'd write later, so here it is. Been doin' nothin' but net surfin' since the first entry earlier today, I wanted to take a nap but the sheets are in the dryer, and it's the only set of sheets that Karen and I like...
Received an email from JD telling me that he was coming to Kansas for a week to visit me and that he left a message on the answering machine but he thought that I'd check my email first...he was right! So I called him back.
As I was writing the above paragraph, I realized that it had been, oh, like ten minutes since I'd eaten anything, so I went and cut another hunk of bread and slathered it with imitation butter (No they can't fool me I know it's not butter!) and I really like to eat chunks of bread not little foo-foo slices. Gotta be at least two inches thick to qualify as man-sized. Like I say, love that fresh bread!
Nothing else to talk about, just that I'm constantly amazed at the stuff that's out there on the net!
