In keeping with tradition, I will have more than one entry on todays page, since I am off and have absolutely nothing to do. Already got everything done, so Tyler and I will go out roaming around, I think we'll go to Big Lots and RJ's.

Didn't buy anything at all. Disappointing, but true. Actually, we did get Tyler some anti-itch stuff at RJ's; he got chigger-bitten the other day out at Betsy's. He got out of the boat to get a lure in a tree (yes, a tree) and got in the bushes. Usually I don't spray because I never get out of the boat except in a safe area. He's got probably 20 bites on his legs. He also got some ticks on his neck & back when we were at Osage on the 4th. Bugs just like him.

We went out to eat at Applebee's tonight, it was good as usual. We had to wait about 1/2 hour to get a smoking table. Tyler is a smoker too, dammit. I just can't raise kids right anymore. I was going to beat it out of him, but I don't think I can. If that'd work, I'd have someone do it for me.

We stopped by Best Buy on the way home, and Karen bought a CD by someone I don't know. Once again, I didn't spend any money. I'm just getting really tight, I guess. I'm looking really hard at 17 inch monitors, though. But I'd still rather have a laptop some day. Actually, I can't afford either one, but I like to dream.

On our way out of Best, we ran into Chris Freed, the kid that was living with JD in Texas, the guy with an amazing artistic talent. He and JD had some difficulties just before he came back up here and they are no longer friendly. Tyler and Chris still are somewhat, though. Chris just came over and picked Tyler up; Tyler was going to try to get some of JD's stuff back from Chris.

Tyler and I are going fishing with Doug in the morning. We'll be at Doug's house at 04:00, which means we'll get up at 03:00. Going to Hillsdale, a really pretty lake about 1 1/2 hours from here. It's a big fish lake (for Kansas, anyway) but I haven't fished it yet this year. Doug was there last weekend for a tournament, just barely finished out of the money.

Karen bought donuts this morning and took them by Rex's, the place that worked on our air conditioner. Sometimes she baffles me.

Thanx for being here!
