Another day, another dollar. Uneventful night at the hospital, just routine stuff all night long. Enough to keep me awake and make me tired, though.

I got off tonight so I can pick up Tyler at KCI @ 21:30. I was thinking about going up this afternoon and looking at used laptop computers at a place Willa mentioned to me, but that would leave a long gap between 17:00 and 21:30 with nothing to do in KC, so I'll do that some other time, probably Monday after the Neil Diamond concert.

Neil Diamond... this will be kind of an anniversary for Karen and I; in November 1983, she and Kim and I went to see Neil Diamond at Kemper. That was the first concert that I had ever been to, and the first time that I told Karen that I loved her. We're looking forward to seeing him again, we have a lot better seats this time, on the floor like six rows out or something like that. It should be really fun. We'll probably spend the night down there and shop the next morning, since Karen and Kim are both off. I guess we'll leave Tyler at the Motel during the concert; we can't get an extra ticket at this time and I really doubt that he'd want to go anyway... but it seems pretty shitty to leave him with nothing to do. We'll think of something, I hope.

Karen is going to go with me tonight to pick up Tyler. We'll probably leave early & roam around KC for a little while. Hopefully, the AC will be fixed in the van... otherwise, we'll go just in time, and I'll probably go alone.

For "breakfast" today, I had a big glass of Ovaltine and some coconut macaroons! Actually, it isn't breakfast for me, but a pre-bedtime snack. I love chocolate and coconut together in any form, especially mounds! But macaroons and choc milk is a good substitute.

One big problem with getting tonight off - I had to trade to work next Tuesday. I'll get overtime, but I'll still have an eight-day stretch. Expect to hear some major bitching...
