I ended yesterday's entry by saying "more later probably..." However, Karen & I decided that Saturday night we would just pay attention to each other, and not the computer or TV. So we went out to eat and wound up... watching "Speed" on TV. Actually, it was a tape, so it wasn't really TV... anyway, on a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 4. 5 is the highest I've ever gone. I don't generally enjoy movies. Admittedly, there are a lot that I haven't seen, so I may have missed the best ones. I doubt it, though.
Got a good night's sleep, anyway. Maybe I'll get this turned around right this time.
Speaking of procrastination, well, we'll take that up tomorrow...keep watching this space!
Well, I never posted the first part so I'll just follow up. Karen & I got some cleaning done this morning and early afternoon, then we went with Kim to the mall. Kim was getting a dress for an interview tomorrow, Karen was getting a baby present for our next-door neighbors who just had a little girl, and I was along for the ride. I went to Sears to exchange a pair of levi's I got in the wrong size a couple of weeks ago. I don't know why I can't ever remember my sizes. I don't buy clothes very often or very well.
We met up after about an hour, then the girls left me sitting in a chair at Jones's. I watched the girls go by and dozed while they did some other stuff, then we went to Applebees', my favorite place next to the North Star. I really enjoy being with Karen, and Kim was a kinda bonus today; she was in a good mood. They originally didn't want to take me with them, but I thought that I would probably take a nap if I was left by myself, and I didn't really want to. Besides, they usually go out to eat, and I would've missed out on that. So I behaved myself very well (by disappearing) and it wasn't too bad. I checked out all the sale software at the Electronic Boutique and the other place and I didn't find anything that I needed or wanted. I wound up buying absolutely nothing, so I justified my frugality by having a steak at Applebees.
Karen joined a book club, and one of her selections was a book on massage and erotic massage. The book recommended using body oil, and I checked it out at Spencers at the mall. Outrageously expensive, I think Wesson Oil would work as well... anyway, we haven't really had the time or energy to explore the book yet, and baby Drew is coming over tonight. Sigh.
I did some work on the frames for the alternate poetry and journal pages. If you were viewing them before with a 640X480 screen, you could only see about 3 lines of the text. I got that fixed, so you might want to try it again, and let me know how it looks. I'm still pretty new at this, y'know..
