Life is good. No, life is WONDERFUL!
I caught some bass this morning. Lots of bass. Lots and lots of bass. Between 06:45 and 08:30, I caught probably 75 fish, with a few up to four pounds, most in the 1-2 pound range. I had a blast! The only trouble was I was by myself. Days like this you need to share with someone! My thumb is raw from lipping all of those fish while I de-hook them, but I don't mind at all. It was a beautiful morning, bright and sunny, very little breeze. It started getting hot about 11:00, and I was absolutely worn out, so I came home. I was also ravenous, I stopped by Hardee's and got a burger and fries. I love their burgers now, even though I'm sure they're not good for me.
We were really busy at Medassist last night; I didn't leave until 21:30. Got to take lots of x-rays, something unusual. Sometimes I go for a couple of weeks without getting to take any. I sure do enjoy working there, very nice people to work with and nice patients, too.
Karen's son Matt will be moving out this weekend; he finally got an apartment, and I will re-inherit the basement. I've been discussing with Karen the possibility of moving my computer stuff back down there. I started off in the basement with my Commodore 64, many years ago. Karen and I haven't lived alone for a number of years, I'm looking forward to it again!
My son Tyler will probably be coming to visit me next time I get a week off, over July 4th. I'm really excited about that, and looking forward to seeing him. JD will probably visit in August sometime.
On a sour note, Karen and I will probably have to declare bankruptcy soon. Lotta money coming in, but even more needs to go out, and it just ain't there. I'm really bummed about the whole damn thing, of course, so I try not to think about it very much...
