Today was the big day for Herm & Debbi. We met them in the judge's courtroom at noon, and everything went off flawlessly. It was a short and sweet ceremony. We were out of there at 12:18. Karen & I then went to the Downtowner & had a bite to eat. Good food down there!

Karen & I are taking Herm & Deb out to the North Star tomorrow night, a re-enactment of their first meeting five months ago. The North Star is great, no matter what the occasion!

Doug will be over about 05:45 Sat AM, we're going back out to Betsy's, me for another round with the monster, Doug to catch crappie (That's a joke, folks!).

I've spent a lot of time wondering what I'm going to do in round three. So far, I think that I've done everything right. I have good equipment, and I've caught some big fish before, so I'm not a complete dummy. The problem seems to be with my hook-setting. Either not enough, like the first time with the trap, or maybe too much, like the carolina rig. I use spiderwire, so there's practically no stretch in the line. My knots have held up well both times, as did the 20# leader on the carolina rig. I just don't know. Maybe I'll find out tomorrow; I really hope so!
