Very, very tired. I think that I went back to work a couple of days earlier than was good for me. Now I'm jus' worn out. That, and a bad days' sleep yesterday. Oh, well, I'll have some catch-up time here really soon. Tonight is my last night of this rotation; work at Med Assist Wed eve, then party(sleep) for a week. Especially if it keeps raining.

Couple of things: another demonstration Saturday night that testosterone and gasoline and alcohol/drugs don't mix. I get so sick of these kids doing the same things I did at that age, only not being so lucky. Brain dead, before & after. My tax dollars down the drain.

We are at the end of a long drought. Why am I already sick of the damned rain?

Several years ago, I begin wearing tennis shoes to work, and I had to double-knot the strings to keep them tied. I thought that it was a function of age, that I couldn't tie my shoes right or that I'd started walking funny or something. Then the other day I discovered my old pair of Rebocks that I'd got about 10 years ago, put them on and made another discovery. The shoestrings are about six inches shorter, and I only need to tie them once. I'm not getting old, they've gone and changed things on me again and not told me! Why do they keep doing that? OK, that's too big of a question. Why the longer shoe-strings? Is there a function that I'm not aware of? I know I hit every eyelet when I strung them... is it fashionable to tie the strings around your ankles, or your knees? What?

Thanx for being here!
